There lived a fisherman who used to go to the sea every day, catch some fish, sell it and earn money adequate to meet his needs. One day after a day\u2019s work, he rested under a tree and sang to himself merrily.
\nA wealthy trader who had been watching the fisherman for some time asked him-
\n\u201cWhy do you waste time?\u201d<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The fisherman was surprised and asked the trader what he should do with his extra time.
\nThe trader suggested-
\n\u201cWhy don\u2019t you catch some more fish and make more money?\u201d<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\u201cWhy should I earn more money?\u201d asked the fisherman.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The trader replied-
\n\u201cYou could buy more boats with the money and catch more fish and become rich. With that wealth you could be very happy.\u2019<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The fisher man replied-
\n\u201c Why should I struggle so hard and gain happiness when I am already happy and satisfied with whatever I have now?\u201d<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
